Food....

I had a coupon for the new Angus 1/3lb'er from McD's. So, I went and got it. Not impressed. In fact, I really feel like I could be sick. Not only was it not tasty, it was extremely salty. My free drink and fries were good. I laughed at myself as I drove away, because when I saw the medium fries I got all excited! Lol! I NEVER get a medium fry. If I get them at all I always order the small off the dollar menu. Oh the things the excite me... It doesn't take much!

once again...

They have blocked facebook and myspace at work. So, I will probably get back to blogger more often. This isn't a bad thing I guess, but things get so slow here at work that it was nice to be able to see what the rest of the free world is up too.

Ryan stood on his own last night. I don't think he realized what he was doing, because as soon as he realized that he wasn't holding on to something he freaked out a little. :-) He had been standing up at his play table and I noticed that it was sliding on the hardwood floor. I went to move it, to aviod a headbang, and he continued standing. The look on his face was funny. It was like he couldn't figure out what was different. When he did figure it out, he made sure to grab my leg really fast. I'm giving him 3 weeks before he starts walking. (yes I know it is a random number)

Also, Leigh, what days will you be at the beach? I am off work the 10th-12th, so if you are here then, that would be cool! Let me know!

delcious

I found a new product that is wonderful! I can't wait to try the many different recipes they offer. So far I made Island Teriyaki Chicken in the crockpot. It was awesome. All I did was throw the chicken breast in the pot, added the island ter. sauce and a can of chunk pineapple. Let it cook on low for 5-6 hours, and whalah. Check out their site by clicking on my title. :-)

He thought he was something else riding like a big boy! And, It was nice for me because I didn't have lug the carseat up and over the side of the buggy.

long over due!

Its official, almost all of our possessions are now in a 10x20 storage building. I am now basically living out of Rubbermaid containers. But, the good news is that it isn’t forever. One day in the not so distant future we will once again have dressers and a house of our own. Hopefully, we will have carpet too. Ryan doesn’t like the hardwood so much.

Ryan has his own room now, which I thought would be really hard for me, and is really adjusting well to it. (I am too)  I think the hardest part is getting up in the middle of the night to feed him. I can never decide if I should just take him to bed to nurse, or just use the rocking chair. He has gotten so big that it is difficult to sit comfortably and nurse him in it. His newest quirk is that he will be asleep, limp asleep, and as soon as I put him down, he wakes up. He will sit up and raise his arms for me to hold him again. At first I thought I would just leave him and let him work it out. But, that just isn’t going to happen. Most babies will stop crying after a while. Not Ryan. He proved this on a 3hr drive a while back. He cried and screamed the whole time. (Can we say stubborn?) Oh well, I really don’t mind rocking him back to sleep. It is the only time that I really get to cuddle with him anymore. He is constantly on the move. Another milestone/s for him is that he is crawling, pulling himself up, and is also saying Mama! I couldn’t believe that he is actually saying it. But, he is! We also think that he is trying to say Hank.

Hank doesn’t seem to mind the new place. Although, I know he misses the king size bed. We are now using a queen and there just isn’t room on it for all of us. And, since Jake refuses to sleep on the couch, it’s the floor for Hank! Lol! I put an old quilt on the floor, but I really need to get him a doggy bed. I think he would like it a lot more.

All in all, all is well. It’s a little cramped, but like I said before, it isn’t forever. I know that the months will fly by and I will wonder where they have gone.

The good part about everything is that I am now much closer to work. I only have a 10min drive! Woohoo! This is going to help out a lot with gas. I will also be able to go home and eat lunch. This will be much more comfortable than the break room, or my car.

Well, that is all I have to update on at the moment. So, until next time….

LOST: Some Like It Hoth

Caution! There may be spoilers.
Some like it Hoth:

1.We find out that Miles’s father is indeed the Dharma scientist video guy. (I can never remember his name…) Along with this information we see, through a window, that his father was nurturing when he was an infant. This leads me to think that there is another reason that he made Miles and his mother leave the Island; if he did indeed have anything to do with them leaving.

A question we were discussing at work just now is: Does Miles’s father recognize him?

2.Daniel shows up on the sub, and he recognizes Miles. Shouldn’t Daniel be coming to the island for the first time? Or is he a time traveler? Hmmmm….. But, that also brings to question how long has he been time traveling?

3.Richard Alpert. What is up with him? I read a theory that suggested that he was a time traveler and since you don’t age while you are back in time, they suggested that he had gone back a LONG time and was working his way to the future. Another theory that was thrown my way is the possibility that he is actually Aaron grown up. This theory is still in the making, but I think it holds a lot of potential. There is something special about the “Shepherd” men. First Jack, then Christian, and then possibly Aaron.

There are so many different outlooks to the many questions that LOST brings to mind. All I really know, is that if this whole thing turns out to be like the movie “Identity” I am going to be really pissed.
